Consignment Info

Thank you for considering Second Chance Owl for your educational resources!

Second Chance Owl relies heavily on consignment. One of our main goals is to keep educational resources circulating around local learning spaces, into the hands of young learners and out of the landfills.

So how does consignment work? I’m happy to answer any questions and help make the consignment process as simple as possible.

How Consignment Works

All consignment agreements are six months in length.

When your items sell, you receive:

50% of the sale price on items priced at $25.00 or less
60% of the sale price on items priced above $25.00

At the end of your six-month consignment term, any unsold items will be removed from the shop. You can choose to have your unsold items returned to you or donated when you fill out the agreement form.

Consignment Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Consignment drop-off is always available in Crossfield, Alberta.

Please send me an email or social media message if you are interested in consigning. Your items must be reviewed and approved before a drop-off or pick-up is scheduled.

Once your items have been approved:

A convenient drop-off date and time will be arranged.
The Crossfield drop-off address will be provided.
If Crossfield drop-off is not convenient for you, a pick-up may be arranged.

Consignment pick-ups are generally scheduled around existing delivery routes.

You do not need to be home for a scheduled pick-up. Items are typically left on your porch, and you will receive a message once your items have been collected.

Please note that pick-up dates and locations may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
